New layers are continuously added until a total thickness of 152 mm (6 inches) is obtained. As a result of the continuous needling of the fiber layers in the spinning wheel, the high fiber index, and the interlocking of our Generation III spinning technology, the fiber logs offer high strength and can be used in applications with high gas velocities. SoliSlab ULS® is based on low-biopersistence fiber with a classification temperature of 1200°C. All products in the SoliWool™ ULS® fiber range, such as SoliSlab™ ULS, meet the requirements specified in NOTE Q of the European Regulation 1272/2008. Therefore, all SoliSlab™ ULS® products are exempt from labeling requirements in Europe. The SoliSlab™ ULS® fiber logs are available in densities ranging from 128 to 240 kg/m³. All products have been developed to meet the specific requirements of the final application. SoliSlab™ ULS® is available in 2 main sizes: Standard Slab: 1000x610x152 mm, packed with 30 logs per pallet. XXL Slab: 2150x610x152 mm, supplied in a large log size to optimize container shipping and minimize conversion waste for modules.
