On the other hand, mica is a mineral that belongs to a large group of alumina, iron, calcium, magnesium, and alkaline silicates. It is characterized by its easy exfoliation into thin, flexible, elastic, and highly shiny sheets, giving it highly attractive electrical and thermal insulation properties for various industrial sectors.
Mica is supplied in two grades—Phlogopite and Muscovite—for different applications.
