Molochite is a synthetic refractory raw material, produced from kaolin calcined at extremely high temperatures (above 1500°C), making it a highly pure source of mullite. Mullite is a key mineral in refractory applications due to its heat resistance, chemical stability, and low thermal expansion. For these reasons, molochite is widely used in the foundry industry.
