MLZ bricks

MLZ refractory bricks are a type of brick primarily made from mullite, a crystalline aluminosilicate phase that offers excellent refractory properties. These bricks are known for their high resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and their ability to withstand very high temperatures, exceeding 1700°C.

The designation “MLZ” refers to their mullite content and their application in areas requiring high thermal and mechanical resistance. MLZ bricks are commonly used in industries such as steel, cement, glass, and ceramics, where they form part of the internal lining of furnaces, boilers, and other equipment exposed to extreme heat and wear conditions.
