Mica Rolls

Mica is a mineral that is part of an extensive group of silicates composed of alumina, iron, calcium, magnesium, and alkaline minerals. It is characterized by its easy exfoliation into thin, flexible, elastic, and highly shiny sheets.

The characteristics of flexibility, elasticity, and thermal resistance make mica a highly attractive material for industry due to its properties as both a thermal and electrical insulator.

Characteristics

Mica rolls are made of, fiberglass fabric, and resin with high thermal and electrical properties. The material is subjected to pressure and heat for curing.

The rolls are available in a standard size of 20,000 x 1,000 mm. Note: Please inquire about other available dimensions.

Typical applications

Mica rolls are primarily used in the metallurgical sector, especially for insulation in induction furnaces.
